Another week, another song from a relatively new dynamic duo in the soul music world. After the releases of songs like I Can Only Whisper and In Your Eyes, Charlotte Day Wilson and BADBADNOTGOOD return with a new song, 'Sleeper.' The song features relaxed and lush production beneath the typical vocals from Charlotte Day Wilson. These days with Charlotte Day Wilson, you know what you are going to get- and that's not a bad thing. A range on intonations, with vocal range and flexibility on display when approaching various areas of the track. The layered vocals are a highlight, as well as the drum and flute patterns in the backing, reminiscent of a song from Blood Orange's latest EP, 'Four Songs.' This collaboration has picked up steam since their first track together back in 2016, and is one to look out for in years to come.
